Friends of Bury Music support everything we do

Our Friends Association is a registered charitygroup of wonderful volunteers made up of past and current Music Centre parents. They organise regular fundraisers to help pay for concerts, trips and new instruments. They also run our brilliant tuck shop!

What do the Friends do?

Providing a 

bursary scheme 

The Friends offer bursery support for less common or more specialist instruments, and also support for families finding it harder to meet the costs of regular lessons.

Managing the

tuck shop 

Our students love our tuck shop and we often think it's their main reason for coming! The Friends do a great job running it and offer snacks and drinks galore.

Fundraising and

social events 

Regular social events are held to raise the funds we rely on, including baking competitions, easter egg hunts, fancy dress, raffles, bag packing, busking and more.
