Welcome to the Friends Association

Since the Association was first formed, round about 1976, a great deal has gone into our efforts to raise funds to support the work of the Music Centre.

By subscribing to the Friends, in addition to the benefits available to you as a member, you will enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that you are participating in a worthwhile venture, which will help the children passing through the Music Centre.

Membership is just £6.00 per annum per family.

Our prime objective is to raise funds to provide many of the amenities and facilities necessary for the running of the Music Centre.

By fully co-operating with the Music Centre staff and understanding their needs in providing the services of the Music Centre we strive to maintain its position as an excellent musical training establishment for children in the Bury area.

We also provide help by promoting concerts and assist with the cost of sending groups on visits. We also maintain a Bursary Fund to enable children to take tuition in additional instruments which are needed to keep the balance of instruments in various groups.
